"I was quoted an amazing policy for a rental dwelling. I went with this policy and after a week of the policy being in effect I was called and told that a mistake was made and that they could no longer honor the policy. My policy would be terminated a month later. I don't believe this was a mistake with the people in the local office, but an obvious mistake with State Farm Corporate who did not elect to grandfather me into this policy since THEY made the mistake. Update: so we elected to keep your auto insurance until the policy expires and unfortunately we had a tornado touch down near us and cause over 12k worth of hail damage. We are three months in from filing the claim and still can not get State Farm to pay out. Our car is finished but being held by the dealership until State Farm settles the supplementary claim. Moreover our rental coverage of our policy is useless as our rental car booked by State Farm died on us. State Farm is unable to get us another rental car until Hertz closes this bill out and their system is down until next Tuesday. State Farm says we just have to wait until Tuesday for another car while my wife has no way to get to work. With State Farm you get to pay for insurance you can’t use and hope they pay out their claims. Considering legal action at this point. Unreal. Do not go with State Farm!!!"

"Insurance is expensive no doubt but we have one vehicle and only two drivers both over 60 and have no tickets my wife has never received a ticket and for just minimal coverage is $260. I did shop around and since we have been with State farm for years it's pretty much in the ballpark of even the lower insurance companies. Their customer service we receive is really good"
